    I bought this from Malta in Europe around 1978 where I lived a collected some WWII souvenirs.  Malta was under British rule in World War II Malta was bombed by the Germans on a daily basis yet the Maltese defended the Islands. The Gorge Cross was to the Maltese islands for their bravery I'm not giving up to the German attacks.
