    . Israeli artist
    Ruth Faktor (Faktorowicz) studied under ceramicist Zohar Guri, who's Modernist style was an obvious influence. This multi-color ceramic relief tile depicts buildings in Old Jerusalem City.
    The relief was molded of local clay, burned to bisque, hand painted and fired again.
    Warm, rich colors - Blues, greens and browns in a variety of shapes and textures.
    The 10-1/4" x 9" tile is in beautiful condition with no chips or issues.
    It is a large and heavy (3.8 lbs) vertical piece, float framed on linen. MCM Period frame, 14" x 11-1/2", has wear in the form of chipping and scratching, rip to paper back.
