Vintage Fender or Door Mount Round side mirror 50s 60s

Description

I would think this mirror is from the 50s or 60s based on its styling.
The only markings I see are MPCD 301 on the inside of the base and I can’t find anything on it.
It may be an aftermarket mirror.
In good condition, perfect for your daily driver or rat rod.
The back of the mirror has some very minor imperfections and it shows a little wear.
Not much though really.
The base is in nice shape, very little pitting.
Note the embossed lines/ridges, they give this mirror a bit more style.
Looks like this mirror could be for either the left or the right side.
