    Description

    Gorgeous antique Old Paris porcelain leaf shaped compote with handle on 1 end and pretty floral center decoration with hot pink borders and gold trim.   Approx. 2 inches tall by 10 inches in long from handle to leaf tip.  As is usually the case - this lovely oldie does have a few condition issues.  There is a nickel sized shallow chip on the underside rim that is just barely visible on the top due to a smaller than a pinhead sized flake to the gold trim.  Also there is what I thought to be a craze line about an inch into the face below the handle (does not come out to the handle) which extends from the pink into the white center about 1 1/4 inches long total.  Hard to see and does go thru to the bottom side but I’m guessing it’s due to age as there are no chips or fractures that appear to have caused this.  Some typical gold wear but not distracting at all.  Otherwise in good condition, very sturdy and still wonderful for display or use.  LOVELY!
