  • Condition: In well used original condition. Some of the brass is showing through the original (chrome or nickel ?) plating. Originally held on by leather strap around the tire, but the leather strap's gone, never had it. The beveled mirror has some spots (dots in light reflecting picture), where some of the reflecting material decayed a bit on the backside of the mirror. Has some pitting in the plating on the base, stem, and swivel pcs. Good antique driver quality mirror!

    Antique spare tire mount beveled glass mirror. Brass construction with a chrome or nickel plating. Magnet wont stick to base, stem, mirror, or top castle nut. Mirror will only rotate from side to side, not up and down, due to it's construction without a ball type swivel.The side to side only movement, leads me to think it could easily be 90+ years old? You would need to add a leather strap/buckle to it if you want to mount it correctly, as the original one has long since disappeared..(Wont be included in this sale). Blemishes in actual mirror glass are from its age, and this mirrors condition would be great for a driver quality antique car.
