    Description

    Beautiful blue bowl by Padre Pottery, petal or tulip vase from the Arts  & Crafts period.  Beautiful matte glaze. Excellent vintage condition, no cracks or chips.
    Small scratch, see picture.
    I am not an expert in pottery so please ask questions, I do not see or feel any flaws so to me this piece is close to mint apart from the small scratch ( see picture).
    Measurements: about as tall as a Yoplait yoghurt  (4 1/4  inches )
    about 7 inches in diameter at it's widest
    opening on top 3  3/4 inches wide
    Padre Pottery operated in the mid-30s to approximately 1943 in the Lincoln Heights district of Los Angeles.
    A large fire destroyed most of Padre’s manufacturing facility in 1943 – a common occurrence for potteries – and the company did not rebuild. This short production period is why so few Padre pieces for sale.
