    Description

    Rare. Good condition for age. Antique 1800’s Civil War Era Men’s Frock Coat Vest And Pants. Condition is "Pre-owned". The suit consisting of coat, vest and pants is probably over 150 years old. Coat is 38” long from top of collar to bottom. Pants have a 27” inseam with 3 1/2” of fabric tucked up in side more then seam. Coat is 16 1/2 “ from sleeve to sleeve in the back. I have tried to show details and any damage. Suit is probably gabardine but not sure. Some photos show suit as lighter then what it really is. Photo 1 shows the coat. Photo 2 shows the small hole bottom front. Photo 3 shows a hole on the right side front. Photo 4 shows buttons on sleeve. Photo 5 is the suit collar showing inside of vest. Photo 6 vest side. At some time the vest stitching was undone but could be restitched. Photo 7 holes in back of pants. Photo 8 inside back of jacket. Photo 9 this shows a repair that was made to the back outside bottom of coat. Which shows what a repair could look like. Photo 10 shows the pants which measure 34” around. Pants closure is a hook and metal buttons. Photo 11 is the crouch of pants which are discolored. Photo 12 is back of coat. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
