R.W. Martin Brothers Stoneware Mug with Snakes 1887Description
A Martin Brothers mug by Robert Martin made in 1887. It has plentiful depiction within small canvas. Three snakes, a snail, a lizard
, the leaves and the flowers are inscribed into the mug. The brown of the background of the design is probably iron glaze. It is slightly tinged with luster. " 8-1887 R.W Martin & Bro London & Southall " is inscribed on the bottom in his usual script.

CONDITION
In excellent condition. Only a nick is on bottom, but it will be a kiln error.
Free from repairs, cracks and scratches. I was not able to find any defect.
