This exquisite hand-painted plate with a scalloped rim is a beautiful decoration piece and fabulous collectible for lovers of French faience! It features a lady spinning in the countryside, and the rim is richly decorated with classical Old Rouen “lambrequins” in bold colors. This piece is in excellent condition and is marked D.8 on the back (I wonder if it is Desvres?)
It measures 9.25” in diameter by 1.3” tall and has t
wo hanging holes.
