The saw frame is European-style all steel,  with a 3" throat size and is fully adjustable to allow even mounting broken blades.  It has a nice ergonomic-shaped wood handle, and will fit virtually any jeweler's saw blades.  It is a good quality tool ideal for students and professionals alike.
The 144 pc. blade assortment consists of 2 dozen each of (from largest to smallest) #2, #1, #1/0, #2/0, #3/0 and #4/0.  These are by far the most frequently used blade sizes.  They have proven in use to be good, durable, smooth-cutting blades.  Always use some type of lubricant when cutting with jeweler's saw blades.  You can order just the frame, just the blades or the set of both and save a little money.  Just use the 'options' slot above.
