Description

You are buying a package of 10 pcs of a HP HDSP 0960- Green Numeric Smart Display with Right Hand decimal point.
These are great for displaying BCD codes. Nice green LED display.
There are 8 pins for the display and the face is clear glass. Rugged, dependable and great looking displays.
These are  new parts made by HP. Data sheet available. DigiKey is currently selling them for over each.

The HP HDSP 0960 are solid state numeric displays with on board decoder / driver and memory provide 7.4 mm (0.29 inch) displays for reliable, low cost methods of displaying digital information.
They are TTL compatible, operating at 5 volts dc.
In a 4 x 7 Dot Matrix Array in a standard Dual In Line Package (DIP)
You can fit 5 of these displays in a standard 40 pin DIP socket.
They decode positive 8421 BCD logic inputs into characters 0-9, an ”–“ sign, a test pattern and 4 blanks in the invalid BCD states.
The display dimensions are 0.400 (10.2 mm) by 0.55 (14.0 mm) , being 0.11 (2.8 mm) thick.
The pin functions are:
Pin 1 is the Input 2
Pin 2 is the Input 4
Pin 3 is the Input 8
Pin 4 the Decimal Point
Pin 5 is the Latch enable
Pin 6 is the Ground connection
Pin 7 is Vcc power connection
Pin 8 is the Input 1
