    Rococo Revival Old Paris Porcelain Candle Chamberstick Nappy
    Very popular in the United States in the late 19th century
    These nappies were shipped back to the United Sates from the European grand tour
    Mostly unmarked, this one has what appears to be a cursive “V”
    Old Paris was manufactured by more than thirty porcelain makers based in the city between the mid 1700’s until around 1870.
    This charming chamberstick probably dates from 1840-70s
    It is white porcelain with gold gilt
    Condition :
    repaired handle, leaf, chip under edge of candle neck (see photos)
