Chippernut StarChip16 APA102-2020 LED Bar Stick

Description

Teeny, Tiny, LEDs! These grain-of-sand sized LEDs are the APA102-2020 LED from APA Electronics. Measuring at only 2mm x 2mm each, we crammed 16 of them together to form this ultra-high-density LED bar that's only 1.5 wide and 3/8" thick.
Not only that, we made it modular! You can tile multiple of these bars together to make strips of varying length. Each purchase comes with a 4-pin male header and 2 VHB dots to mount the bars anywhere (VHB will take 12-24 hours to fully cure once attached). We've added power and ground pads on the back if you want to add a power capacitor. These are fully compatible with the Chippernut Shift Lights (v3 and newer).

** Please note:  There is an input and output side. You'll want to connect the first bar to the INPUT side only. Then connect the output of the first bar to the input of the second bar, if you are linking multiple bars together. If you connect it backwards, there's a good chance you will toast the bar.

These LED bars can be VERY, VERY bright. If driven at their full potential, they can draw nearly 1 amp each. As a result, they generate heat. As LEDs do.
Do not run these at full-brightness for very long, because they will get HOT
. It's recommended that you keep power draw at less than 0.5 amp per board.
