Charleen Kinser Forever Toys 20” Polly Cloth Doll RARE! 1992

This auction is for one of my most favorite artists
Charleen Kinser..this is a cloth doll she calls Polly and from what I understand Charleen designed her when she became a grandmother, trying out a new line.  She was never produced commercially and is either one of a kind or one of a very few.  Polly is a loose stuffed, floppy, and except for her swivel head, she is an unjointed long legged cloth doll.  She is colorfully outfitted in a non removable dress. Charleen signed her on her ear and she has typical Forever Toys cloth tags sewn in.  She never had a booklet, nor did the kitty.   She is the only item available for sale in this auction, but kitty is available in another of my listings....they make a wonderful pair for the serious Kinser collector.   Charleen’s
work is always clever, fun and
beautifully made. I found both parents and collectors were always excited to see any new work I got of hers to add to their collection.  Polly and her kitty are part of my extensive remaining Kinser inventory and are new old store stock stored   I will be listing other wonderful Kinser creations in separate auctions
.  I have been in the collectible doll and bear business from the late 1980’s to the early 2000’s, setting up at bear shows and listing on eBay (as cmporter) until I had to stop because of health issues.  During my time on eBay, I had earned over 1100 positive feedbacks all of which disappeared when I had to change my user name because of a major hack.  I think the pictures should give a true representation of this unusual Kinser creation, but if you need to see more pictures of her please email and let me know.
