    Description

    40ct Valuable Dominican Republic Larimar Cabochon. Found only in the south western mountainside of the Dominican Republic, Larimar is the blue variety of pectolite, also referred to sometimes as Atlantis stone due to it's distinctive blue coloration. Very popular in the Caribbean, especially among cruise passengers. Attractive mix of blues, blue greens and whites with a few reddish iron spots along one edge, opaque to translucent, free of significant unnatural flaws with attractive face up and eye appeal. Custom fancy cabochon well cut from premium top grade rough, fully polished front and back and not cut too thick like most native cut larimar typically offered, approx. 31.32 x 24.54 x 6.05mm. Valuable designer's stone!
