    19th Cent French Earthenware 8" Lidded Terrine Confit Pot w/ pour spout & handle
    For sale is a beautiful
    19th Century French Earthenware Lidded Terrine in a mustard yellow color.
    It measures 8" diameter (not incl handle) by 5-3/4" tall to the top of the lid finial; approx. 10" across from handle to spout. The terrine is in great overall condition with signs of use, some rubs along some of the edges and a few glazing flaws; there are no chips, cracks or repairs.
    Both the lid and base are fully glazed with the exception of the underside. I have a collection of French pottery that I will be selling, including various sizes of rare handled cooking vessels, along with confit pots, water jugs and a few terrines (see last photo).  Please message me with any questions. The vessel was sourced by me in France and comes from a non-smoking home.
