1968 Triumph Daytona

Description

Clean, unmolested, 8465 original miles (believed to be accurate) Tiger Daytona! I love this bike so much, it has such wonderful character and feel to it. It was found stored in a windowless building, so the paint and seat are in remarkable condition. Last on the road in 1983- fuel tank and original Amal 928 carbs have been thoroughly cleaned, inspected and reassembled by a British motorcycle specialist. Ignition points cleaned and gapped, new plugs, clutch plates cleaned and checked for true, fresh oil, everything works as it should. New battery. Old K81 Dunlop tires hold air- I held off on replacing them so the new owner could choose what rubber he or she would like. Clean Georgia title. I have too many bikes, so this one needs a new home. Like a favorite pet or unwanted child, I'd like to see it go to someone who will treat it well and give it the attention it deserves.
