    5050smart RGB LED's have a built in WS2811 LED controller chip and RGB LED's in a 4 lead/pin 5050 carrier (like a 5050 with the middle pins missing).
    Improved design
    is electrically protected against being installed backwards,
    brighter and more consistent colors
    than the original WS2812 chip!
    These LED's use 5V power, have an NZR encoded serial in & out with data rates of 800kbps (see also the WS2811 encoder chip information, high speed mode) you can string 1024 of them in a row and still keep a 30fps frame rate. OctoWS2811, FastSPI, and other libraries support this in your micro controller projects.

    NOTE: The specifications for a RESET say > 50uS and all data pulses are well under 0.2uS, leaving a large undefined gap. Practical use shows that a RESET can often be triggered with timing in the 6-8uS range. Please be careful of unintended delays of data that might trigger situations like this, your millage can vary since this is an undefined situation.
